JOHNA WILLIAMS, MPT – Masters of Physical Therapist
With nearly three decades of experience in the field, Johna Williams, MPT, has been a trusted and compassionate provider of Physical Therapy services in the Texarkana area for 28 years. A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, Johna was part of the first Master's class in Physical Therapy, earning her degree in 1997.
A longtime resident of Texarkana, Johna has dedicated her career to serving her community with excellence and heart. Over the years, she has worked across a wide range of therapy settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and outpatient services. Her broad expertise and patient-first approach make her a valued clinician known for delivering high-quality, personalized care.
Johna’s passion for therapy is evident in every aspect of her work—she finds true fulfillment in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. Her commitment to excellence and her warm, approachable nature have made her a cornerstone of physical therapy in the region.
Outside of her professional life, Johna is married to her husband, Buddy Williams, and together they have a daughter, Ryann. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, playing the occasional round of golf, and indulging in a bit of shopping.

CLAIRE ASHBY, DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapist
Claire Ashby is a skilled and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong foundation in patient care and rehabilitation. Originally from Texarkana, Texas, Claire is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 2017, and went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
With 8 years of experience in the healthcare field, Claire has worked in both outpatient clinics and home health settings, where she’s become known for her personalized, goal-driven approach to therapy. Her passion lies in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence through evidence-based care and compassionate support.
Outside of work, Claire lives an active and fulfilling life. She’s an avid fan of tennis, golf, hiking, and enjoys cooking in her downtime. A proud dog mom to her lovable pup Lenny, Claire never misses a chance to spend time outdoors.
Family is also close to Claire’s heart—she’s a proud aunt to three nieces: Charlotte, Stella, and Chandler, and one nephew, John. Whether she’s on the tennis court, in the kitchen, or surrounded by family, Claire brings warmth, energy, and a deep commitment to helping others thrive.

KENT GRIMMETT, PTA - Owner - Physical Therapy Assistant
Kent Grimmett, Owner of Southern Rehab - Texarkana, and a proud graduate of South Arkansas College in Eldorado, where he earned his degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant in 2017. Since then, he has dedicated his career to helping patients recover and improve their quality of life through compassionate care and personalized rehabilitation.
Outside of his professional life, Kent is a family man. He is married to Rachel, and together they are raising two wonderful children, Collins and Cutter. Whether he’s working hard to provide for his family or spending precious moments playing and bonding with his kids, Kent always strives to be the best husband and father he can be.
In his free time, Kent enjoys a variety of outdoor hobbies. He’s an avid hunter and fisherman, relishing the peace and adventure that come with spending time in nature. When he’s not out in the wild, Kent loves to simply engage in fun activities with his kids. His love for family, nature, and his profession defines who he is—a hardworking, dedicated man with a big heart.

ZAC JOSLIN, PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant
Zac was born and raised in Magnolia, Arkansas, and has always had a strong connection to his roots. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Southern Arkansas University (SAU) and furthered his education at South Arkansas College in Eldorado, where he earned his degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Zac is deeply committed to his profession, helping patients regain their strength and mobility with compassion and dedication.
Outside of his career, Zac is a devoted husband to Summer and a proud father to their two young children, Logan (age 4) and Riley (age 6). Family is incredibly important to Zac, and he loves spending quality time with his wife and kids, creating lasting memories together.
In his free time, Zac enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep him active and creative. He’s an avid weightlifter, always pushing himself to improve his fitness. Zac also has a passion for music, often writing songs and playing both the piano and guitar. When he’s not making music, you can find him outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting—activities that allow him to relax and connect with nature. Whether it's lifting weights, playing music, or spending time with his family, Zac’s diverse interests and love for life shine through in everything he does.

RYAN SCHAEFFER- PTA, – Physical Therapy Assistant
With 15 years of hands-on experience in the field of physical therapy, Ryan brings both heart and humor to his work as a Physical Therapy Assistant. His journey began as a Physical Therapy Tech, where he spent 7 years building a strong foundation in patient care before officially becoming a PTA. He graduated from Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant, Texas in 2015, after finishing high school at Fouke High School in Fouke, Arkansas.
Ryan has a true passion for helping others get back on their feet—literally. He previously worked at Healthcare Express in Texarkana, where he was known for his amazing personality, strong work ethic, and ability to make patients feel comfortable and motivated during therapy.
When he’s off the clock, Ryan enjoys life to the fullest. He’s a big fan of Netflix and chilling, tearing up the trails on his Side-by-Side ATV, and spending quality time with his family. He's also an animal lover and proud pet owner to two rescue cats—Callie, a calico, and Lil’ Bit, a feisty tortoiseshell—as well as Zoey and Zeke, his loyal Australian Shepherds.
Ryan’s easygoing personality, combined with years of experience and genuine care for his patients, makes him a trusted and valued part of our therapy team. Whether he's helping patients meet their goals or cruising the backroads with Zoey and Zeke riding shotgun, Ryan brings energy, dedication, and heart to everything he does.

STEPHANIE WILLIAMS, PTA– Physical Therapy Assistant
With over 26 years of dedicated experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, Stephanie Williams has built a career centered around compassion, care, and a true passion for helping others heal and thrive. A proud graduate of Kilgore Community College in Kilgore, Texas, Stephanie laid the foundation for her career after graduating from James Bowie High School in Simms, Texas.
Stephanie is known by her colleagues and patients for her calming presence, hands-on expertise, and unwavering commitment to patient wellness. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of settings—from outpatient clinics to rehabilitation centers—bringing her gentle, knowledgeable approach to everyone she treats.
Outside of her professional life, Stephanie is a proud wife to her high school sweetheart, Kevin, and a devoted mom to their two children, Ryan and Baylee. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her in the garden, with her hands in the soil or loving on one of her many fur babies. She also enjoys quiet afternoons with a good book, and loves getting creative with her many crafting projects.

Bralee Lansdell – Insurance Authorization & Eligibility Specialist
Bralee Lansdell is a vital member of our administrative team, specializing in insurance authorizations and eligibility. With a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to patient care, Bralee ensures that every step of the insurance process is handled smoothly and efficiently, helping patients receive the care they need without unnecessary stress.
Bralee grew up in Ashdown, Arkansas, and is a proud graduate of Ashdown High School. She went on to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Always eager to grow both personally and professionally, Bralee plans to begin graduate school in the fall to pursue her Master’s degree in English, with hopes of one day working in publishing or teaching in higher education, with the goal of further advancing her career.
When she’s not working hard behind the scenes, Bralee enjoys a variety of hobbies including reading, kayaking, and baking. Whether she's curled up with a good book, out on the water, or trying out a new recipe, Bralee brings the same dedication and enthusiasm she shows at work into every part of her life. She’s also a proud dog mom to Gypsy, her loyal and energetic German Shepherd, who’s always up for the next outdoor adventure.

Susan Healy – Insurance Billing Specialist
Susan brings over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field to her role as our dedicated Insurance Biller. Born and raised in New Boston, Texas, Susan is a proud graduate of New Boston High School, and her journey through healthcare has been as compassionate as it has been diverse. From working in family practice as a receptionist, to referral coordinator, to caregiver, and now thriving in billing for physical therapy, Susan has done it all—with heart, faith, and purpose.
Susan is the proud mother of Gracey and Haydon, and her greatest joy comes from being "Mammy" to her granddaughters Jaida and Ava, with a grandson on the way in August 2025. Her family is her pride and joy, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.
When she's not ensuring billing runs smoothly, you’ll likely find Susan living out her passions. She has a deep and unwavering love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and finds great peace and purpose through her faith. As our Front Desk Coordinator, Natalie plays a vital role in the patient experience. She’s responsible for checking in patients, answering phones, and making sure our daily schedule stays on track with ease and efficiency.
Natalie brings with her a wealth of experience in the healthcare field, having worked in family practice and podiatry, where she quickly became known as a huge asset at the front. Her calm demeanor and natural ability to multitask make her a steady and reliable presence in a fast-paced environment.
What truly sets Natalie apart is her personality. She is the definition of a caring spirit—kind, generous, and understanding, always going the extra mile to make patients feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Her background spans orthopedics, family practice, and home health, where she’s served the Texarkana area as a Nurse, making her uniquely equipped to represent Southern Rehab with authenticity and heart.
Krystal is a natural connector with a gift for building strong relationships and enhancing the clinic's digital presence, and sharing the inspiring stories of patients and staff.
